With extreme weather events plaguing the globe in a near-constant threat to human livelihood, this year more so than any other has caused our collective attention to turn towards the climate crisis.

With April’s arrival comes the anticipation that in just a few short weeks our team will be launching our spring planting operations! With 10x the scale of last year and some game-changing new tech, our spring planting missions are set to be our biggest step up yet. We’ll be working in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta this year to address the urgent need for post-wildfire reforestation.

Between April and June of this year, our team travelled over 10,000 km and planted over 300,000 seed pods, completing the largest drone reforestation project in Canadian history! We planted 19 different species across 13 sites and couldn’t be more excited about the results.

In November we posted job openings for less than a handful of positions and received over 600 applications.
