It’s been a busy few weeks here at Flash Forest.
The team just returned from a trip across the country where we successfully completed three pilot planting operations over the past few weeks!

Beautiful British Columbia
Bryce, Cameron and Greg made the trip out West to B.C. with our truck and trailer holding tens of thousands of seed pods. The team managed to get all of them in the ground in the Alex Fraser Research Forest and the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest. During our time there, we were lucky enough to meet (from a distance!) with our partners at the University of British Columbia. It was exciting getting to show off our latest pod-deployment mechanism to the Dean of Forestry and his many colleagues in the university’s research forest. We are grateful for the support, research assistance, and land-contributions provided by UBC and are excited about future opportunities with them.
