Upcoming pilots

Here are some updates on how things at Flash Forest are coming along!

We have two very exciting pilots coming up this month:

• One is in Barrie, Ontario where we are planting a few thousand of our seed pods on a post-burn forest. Our team went out a few weeks ago to map the area and create a flight path for our drone. Super excited to get planting!

• The second pilot is coming up in British Columbia at the end of the month! We will be planting tens of thousands of our pods containing Interior Douglas-fir, Engelmann spruce, Coastal Douglas-fir, and Western hemlock seeds. 

While recognizing the current situation with COVID-19, we are very committed to the goals we've set for ourselves. Given that our drones can arguably do the work of 10 human planters, we are able to safely and efficiently plant in areas while continuing to practice proper social distancing.
